Project ECHO’s Thanksgiving Day 5K
Our 6th annual Thanksgiving Day 5K will be held on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017. Planning is underway and we expect to open online registration mid-September. The time and location are no different from last year; the race will begin and end at 355 West Dares Beach Rd, same day registration will open at 6:00 a.m. and the race start time is 7:00 a.m. Please email ECHOdevelopment@comcast.net if you have questions or interest in volunteering for this event.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support Project ECHO and our Thanksgiving Day 5K. You helped us make Turkey Trot 2016 a beautiful success! We had 654 registered participants and 559 of you ran across the finish line! Congratulations to each of you!

The timing service was provided by Bluepoint Race Management, award ribbons were provided by Lighthouse Engraving & Signs, t-shirts were provided by Ad Options Inc., photos were/will be provided by Avan Smith Photography, yoga warm-up was provided by Beth Cory of Yoga and Wellness for All, port-o-pottys were provided by J&J Portables, Cheerleaders were from Huntingtown High School and our safety and road closures were provided by Calvert County Sheriffs Department.

Turkey Trot 2016 Event Details
Registration: Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated. You may pre-register online, in person, over the phone or with a mail-in form.
Pre-registering will keep you out of the 6:00 am same day registration line, save you $5 per person and enable all of us to be better prepared for the race. Early registration closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 20th.
*Please note* pre-registration is available through November 20th for your convenience BUT to ensure that you receive a race day shirt we recommend you register no later than 11:59 pm on
Sunday, November 6th Wednesday, November 9th. Brand new this year due to popular demand is the option to upgrade to a long sleeve race day t-shirt. This upgrade is also only available through 11:59 pm, Sunday, November 6th Wednesday, November 9th.
Packet Pickups: Those who pre-register will be able to pick up your bibs and shirts at Project ECHO on November 22nd and 23rd from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
*Please note* Pick ups will be at Project ECHO which is a separate location from the event.
Same day registration will open at 6:00 am, one hour before the race start time.

Race Day Details: The race will begin at 7:00 am.
Parking is available at the shopping center on West Dares Beach Rd. across from The Arc.
A brief warm up will take place in the parking lot before the race begins.
Preliminary race results and awards ceremony immediately following race.
Complete race results will be posted online at www.projectECHO.net as soon as they are available.
Complimentary light refreshments will be available before and after the race.
Long sleeve race shirts will be available for purchase before and after the race while supplies last.

Turkey Trot 2015
Thank you to all who came out and spent Thanksgiving morning with us. Turkey Trot 2015 was the biggest & best yet! We had 600 registered participants and 515 race finishers. We had dozens of volunteers between our Project ECHO board members, staff family members, high schoolers, middle schoolers, runners, walkers, past participants and ECHO House residents.
We had several sponsors who donated money and services that greatly contributed to the success of this event.
