Donations
The most important question you should ask yourself is, "Why donate to the homeless?". Ultimately, it is all about compassion. A very personal term only you can truly define. If it includes the homeless, here is our needs list.
a. The absolute top of our list is money. All funds received will go towards daily operating expenses. In spite of our frugality every tomorrow seems to be a financial question mark. No donation is too small. Whether it is $.10 or $10,000, we need it. Send your check, made out to Project ECHO, to Trisha Gipson, Project ECHO, P.O. Box 2764, Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
b. Food is also something we always need. If you have any to spare, bring it on in. No appointment needed!
c. Providing dinner or lunch for 40 is always needed. The local churches and some families do a superb job fulfilling this need but not every day is covered.
d. Your time. If we do not have to pay someone to do something, we save money. Click (here) to discover how you can meaningfully volunteer.
e. All of the above.
